FISH ROTS FROM THE MAHATHIR HEAD: CAN TUN PROMISE THERE WILL BE NO NAJIB-STYLE ‘I HELP YOU, YOU HELP ME’ – WITH NO EXCEPTIONS EVEN TO ‘ORANG KITA’, FAMILY, SIBLINGS, CRONIES INCLUDING LONGSTANDING ALLIES LIKE DAIM?

There are no two ways of looking at corruption. You cannot say that you are a little pregnant neither can you say that you are a little corrupt. You are either corrupt or you are not! The fish rot from the head. Tun Mahathir has got to understand that. Azizah, Anwar, Kit Siang, Mat Sabu, and Guan Eng has got to understand that. And of course, Latheefa Koya has got to understand that.

Did someone say that all do understand that? That those in the PH Cabinet, the KSU’s, the IGP, all the relevant government servants and everyone in PDRM understand that too? Really?

I want to start this morning with a simple premise. Can we have a pledge from the prime minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir, that from this day forth with no exception, with no closing of one eye and shutting off the other? With no excuse of “I scratch your back and you scratch mine”. With no exception for “orang kita”. No exception for family, siblings, relatives, friends or even those to whom you owe a favor. None…no exceptions whatsoever….can Tun Mahathir stand tall with hand on his heart and pledge to us: “From this day forth, no more corruption in any shape, in any form. No more corruption period!”

Boleh tak Tun?
