Ostard suka gay porn pula. Nauzubillah.

Yesterday the story about the ostard fellow who "liked" gay porn videos in his Twitter account or something was splashed in a few places.

First of all, to be accurate, it is not an offence under our laws (including the syariah criminal enactments) to watch pornography. Otherwise we should not be watching Netflix either.  So I believe no crime has been committed by this ostard fellow if  he had 'liked' those porn videos.

If someone is found 'making' pornographic videos (actually acting in them) then certainly for Muslims it is breaking the syariah enactments. Under the civil laws the homosexual acts will certainly be a breech.

But this ostard fellow is part of the "religious gang". The religious gang make a living by making other people feel guilty about committing "sins".  Religious people always carry themselves in a 'I am holier than thou' attitude.

And in this country 'mencegah maksiat' is the main item on their menu. They can win elections and they make a living just on 'mencegah maksiat' alone.

So it is a bit of a shocker (but not for me though) to find out that this ostard fellow was hitting the 'like' button for gay porn videos on Twitter.

I have said this before and I will say it again - the religious fellows are the biggest hyp-cr-tes on earth. Time and time again I have found this to be true. This is just another example.

But there is something else I noticed about this 'gay porn' ostard story. I went through the multiple screen shots that had been  viralled from this fellow's Twitter account, including the following.

In this screen shot above there is also a verse from the Quran, as you can see.

There is the Arabic verse from Surah al Kahfi, verse 10 or Surah 18:10. Then there is what is obviously the Malay translation.

However what is written in the Malay translation is not exactly what is written in arabic in Surah 18:10.

The translation (of part of the verse only) in the screenshot above says:

"Wahai Tuhan kami, tetapkanlah hati kami dalam Islam dan berikanlah jalan keluar kepada kami dalam menyelesaikan urusan kami"

The Arabic transliteration and translation is :

rabbana - Tuhan kami

aatina - berilah kami

min - dari

la-dunka - sisi Kamu

rahmatan - rahmat

wa-haiyyi  - dan sediakanlah

lana - bagi kami

min - dari

amri-na - urusan kami

rashadan - petunjuk lurus

"berilah kami dari sisi Kamu rahmat" has been replaced with "tetapkanlah hati kami dalam Islam".

The words 'hati' and 'Islam' just do not appear here.

Just a point of interest.

The views expressed are those of the writer and do not necessarily reflect those of MMKtT.
