Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) secretary-general Nor Hizwan Ahmad has claimed that apart from Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin, there are other MPs on the government bench who supported his party.
According to a report by Free Malaysia Today, Nor Hizwan (above) said this while hinting that other government MPs would be joining his party.
PBM is a relatively new party, launched in December last year. Nor Hizwan, the pro-tem secretary-general, was once the leader of Penggerak Komuniti Negara, an association with links to Zuraida.
Yesterday, Zuraida announced that she would join PBM. Following this, Nor Hizwan said her application was being considered.
Zuraida was among 10 PKR MPs who defected to Bersatu in 2020.
In a related development, PBM Youth information chief Isham Sharudin said Zuraida's decision to join PBM was an endorsement of the party's "Great reset 2030" agenda.
"This move proves that the struggle for Malaysia is not measured by material wealth as PBM is not an 'elite' party that is full of comforts.
"Instead, we are a platform for the 'great reset'," said Isham. - Mkini
