Politics of fear will not advance the Malays, says Mat Sabu

Politics based on fear will not advance the Malays, Amanah president Mohamad Sabu said, urging voters to make decisions based on facts, integrity and trustworthiness.

In a Facebook post ahead of the Negeri Sembilan state election, Mohamad, popularly known as Mat Sabu, said Malays should not be influenced by narratives not backed by evidence.

“Politics of fear will not uplift the Malays. What will uplift them is the courage to choose based on facts, integrity and trustworthiness, not propaganda repeated until it is accepted as truth.

“I say this because I care about the Malays. I cannot bear to see my own people so easily deceived, manipulated and exploited with stories that are not based on facts.
