Fuel prices have gone up for a second consecutive week, with an increase of four sen per litre for RON95 and RON97, while diesel will see an increase of six sen per litre.
Effective midnight, RON95 will cost RM2.07 per litre while RON97 will cost RM2.32 per litre.
Meanwhile, diesel will go up to RM2.05 per litre.
Weekly fuel prices, which are announced every Wednesday, are determined based on the average Means of Platts Singapore (Mops) price as well as the average ringgit strength against the US dollar in the previous week.
This new pricing mechanism was introduced in April.
A couple of months back saw five consecutive weeks of fuel price decrease, followed by two weeks of increase. - Mkini
