Najib Abdul Razak felt a slight chill run up his spine after learning that Lim Kit Siang has mentioned him a total of 11,400 times on the latter's blog.
The former premier, who is now known as the “King of Trolls” due to his active social media engagement, said a friend had provided him with a screenshot of this information based on a Google search.
“Never mind, as long as Kit Siang is not using my photograph as the background photograph for his mobile phone.
“Then again, who knows?” he tweeted this evening.
The tweet also contained the hashtags “MenHEN” and “SedikitCreepy (a little creepy)”.
Previously, the former premier had described Lim as the minister in charge of Najib's Affairs, which he shortened to “MenHEN” (Menteri Hal-Ehwal Najib).
He also accused the DAP veteran of being obsessed with him.
However, Lim defended his regular media statements regarding Najib, stating that Malaysians must not forget the 1MDB scandal.
He claimed that the former premier is attempting to divert attention from the scandal in order to engineer his political comeback, with tomorrow's Cameron Highlands by-election serving as the launchpad.
Therefore, Lim urged Malaysians not to fall into Najib's trap and to thwart the latter's “devilish and diabolical” plot. - Mkini
