UMNO has not adhered to its own party Constitution by not holding its party elections after being granted a legal further extension of a year as allowed by its own party Constitution. The final date to hold its party elections were on 19 April 2018, even this they fail to perform.
The Registrar of Societies has no option but to DEREGISTER UMNO immediately for having violating its own party Constitution.
If UMNO is deregistered, the candidate in the current Cameron Highlands parliamentary elections will become illegal and lose his right to contest.
Furthermore, all UMNO and BN elected representatives on 9 May 2018 General Elections, will also lose their right as a elected representatives, since UMNO is deregistered for not adhering to its party Constitution and the letter authorising the candidacy was signed by UMNO officials.
Malaysians are hoping that justice will prevail and justice is well served.
