A WOMAN in Kota Baru, who captured a crocodile behind her house, was heavily criticised when a photograph emerged on social media showing her hugging the reptile.
Azy Nadia Aziz (pic), 22, was seen holding the 1.5m-long crocodile while sitting on a sofa in her living room, reported Harian Metro.
“I saw that the crocodile was not moving and it was not aggressive, so I captured it and brought it into my house.

In response to her critics, Azy said: “Stop criticising me as I did not keep it as a pet. I only captured it for a while.”
> The daily also reported that actress Fazura has dispelled talk that she is pregnant, saying she would make public such information if it was true.
Fazura, whose real name is Nur Fazura Sharifuddin, said she had always been open to the media and her fans.
“Yes, I promise I will tell all. If there is any news, I will divulge it at a suitable time,” she said.
Speculation about her being pregnant came about after a video emerged of her in loose clothing.
Fazura added that she and her husband, actor Fattah Amin, were ready to become parents.
> A 25-year-old woman confessed that she was addicted to sex after she was caught in close proximity for the third time with a different man, Sinar Harian reported.
The woman was last caught with a 21-year-old man at a budget hotel in Kuala Terengganu on Jan 2.
She pleaded guilty on Monday to the offence under the Syariah Criminal Offences (Takzir) (Terengganu) Enactment 2001.
She was first arrested when she was 16 and again at the age of 23.
When asked by the court whether she was involved in prostitution, she said no.
She was ordered to undergo rehabilitation at a women’s centre.
