NURUL Izzah Anwar has stood her ground on calling Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad a dictator, saying that it was not a big deal as she had said so on many different occasions before.
The Permatang Pauh MP said her remarks were factual according to her knowledge.
“It’s factual from my record. I said it before elections (GE14), said it during demonstration in Bersih 3.0 and Bersih 4.0
“I don’t understand why saying it in a different forum (in an interview with Singapore’s Straits Times) containing the same message is problematic,” she said at the Parliament lobby today.
Nurul Izzah had described Dr Mahathir as a former dictator who caused much damage to her family and the nation in an interview with the daily.
She also said she is “heartbroken” by Pakatan Harapan’s slow delivery of its promised reforms.
