Azmin's team to hold dinner party at Renaissance Hotel

PKR AGM | PKR deputy president Azmin Ali and his supporters are having a "dinner" event at the Renaissance Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday night.
This comes after speculations of a separate parallel congress at Renaissance Hotel supposedly put to rest, following a truce between PKR president Anwar Ibrahim and Azmin (photo) before the congress in Malacca.
According to an invite for the 6.30pm dinner event, party leaders who are expected to attend include Azmin, PKR vice-presidents Tian Chua, Zuraida Kamaruddin and Ali Biju.
Women chief Haniza Talha, Youth deputy chief Hilman Idham and central committee member R Sivarasa are also expected to be present.

Zuraida confirmed that there will be an event at Renaissance Hotel tomorrow, which she will attend, but stressed that it was merely a dinner.
"No, it's not (another PKR Congress). It is a dinner.
"It is a shared prosperity vision dinner," she said to reporters at the PKR Congress held at Malacca International Trade Centre (MITC) today.
Tian Chua also confirmed that there would be an event at Renaissance Hotel tomorrow and that he would be attending.
Azmin later said there was never a plan for a "parallel" congress and that the dinner tomorrow night is to present the shared prosperity vision.
Party president Anwar Ibrahim was also invited for the dinner, he added.
"There was never any plans to have that (parallel congress). We just feel that the delegates should be given an explanation.
"The dinner tomorrow is to present the shared prosperity vision. The president was invited as well," he said in a press conference at the Ames Hotel in Malacca.
The PKR Congress in Malacca is expected to end at 2.30pm on Sunday.
Anwar and Azmin met on Wednesday, a day before the PKR Congress started, and supposedly struck a ceasefire between the two factions.
Both leaders had also adopted reconciliatory tones during their addresses at the congress and appealed for rapprochement.
Although there was no clear sign of a rift during the speeches made during the PKR Youth and Women's wing congresses yesterday, a significant number of delegates for the main congress took veiled jabs at Azmin this morning. - Mkini
