Three men die in fight at kongsi house

The dead men suffered wounds believed to be inflicted by sharp weapons.

TAMPIN: Three Indonesian men were killed in a fight at a kongsi house at Ladang Chin Fatt in Gedok, Gemencheh, about 20 km from here, last night.

Negeri Sembilan deputy chief police Che Zakaria Othman said the men were found sprawled and bathed in blood in a room by policemen who went to the scene after receiving a report.

‘’They had wounds believed to be inflicted by sharp weapons. A sickle and a knife with blood on them were found at the scene.

‘’A preliminary investigation revealed that the incident took place at 10.30,” Zakaria said in a statement.

He said the trio were oil palm plantation workers from another company who were visiting the kongsi and were acquaintances of one of the occupants there.

Police detained three Indonesian men from the kongsi, aged 29 to 42, to help in the investigation. - FMT
