At a press conference here, he said there had been 554 arrests, bringing the total number to 6,048.
Of these, 489 were detained and 65 released on bail. A total of 212 have been charged.
“Before this, I felt proud because every day there was a decrease for four days in a row.
“But yesterday, there was an increase (in arrests),” he said.
