Covid-19: RHB Bank confirms staff tested positive

RHB Bank said the affected branch had been temporarily closed from March 25 until the end of the Movement Control Order period due to the Covid-19.

KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Banking Group confirmed on Wednesday that one of its employees from the Kelana Jaya branch of RHB Islamic Bank was tested positive for Covid-19.

“The affected employee had been placed on home quarantine since March 26 and was confirmed Covid-19 positive today, ” it said in a statement.

RHB Bank said the affected branch had been temporarily closed from March 25 until the end of the Movement Control Order period.

It said deep cleaning and sanitisation activities have been carried out in accordance with Health Ministry guidelines.

“As an added precaution, employees who had come into close contact with the affected person had been placed on home quarantine, ” it said, adding it had taken all necessary precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of its customers, employees and the community. - Star
