Deliveryman finds drugs in roti canai

GOMBAK: He was tasked with delivering a packet of roti canai but sensed something was not quite right.

So, the deliveryman decided to take a peek inside just to be sure.

His hunch paid off and prevented him from becoming an unwitting drug mule. Inside the packet was substance believed to be drugs covered by a thin dough.

“According to a police report on Monday, an order had come through to send a package from a man in Tropicana, Petaling Jaya, to an address in Setapak.

“When he reached Gombak, the complainant decided to open it. He found two packets of substance and some roti canai, ” said Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Arifai Tarawe yesterday. - Star
