My comments :
"Only" 69 new cases yesterday versus 201 people discharged.
New cases are 34% of discharges.
I hope this means we are winning the war.
It is best to continue the lockdown for a while longer.
We are NOT South Korea or Taiwan.
Even with the lockdown people are just in the blur about social distancing and public hygiene.
Some countries are suggesting a permanent ban on any congregation of more than 50 people, at least until a vaccine is found.
Or more effective medicines / drug combinations are worked out to cure the infected quickly and minimise fatality. That is going to take a while.
Or the so called herd immunity kicks in. But there is no guarantee (so far) that you cannot get infected twice or three times and get sick more than once. Like catching a cold more than once in a year.
Until a vaccine is found any gathering of even FIVE people is going to spread the virus.
It is not just FIVE or 50 people gathering but more importantly gathering for what purpose?
50 people working in a steel mill with 1000 degree furnaces going at full blast or 50 people working in a high tech, super clean brewery with controlled environments should have less probability of spreading or catching the virus than say two guys in a wrestling match or two teams of 11 players each playing a football match.
Schooling and universities will certainly have to be re-engineered.
And without a vaccine, organised religion is dead.
First things first. Lets hope the numbers keep coming down.
If that 70 day cycle (for the virus to fizzle out) is true, then we have about 38 more days to go - until about May 26th 2020.
Wuhan reopened on the 73rd day after their lockdown from January 23rd 2020 till April 8th 2020.
Wash your shoes folks. Everything sticks to your shoes.
People are covering their faces when they go out but few are covering their hair.
Hair is like a feather duster - it picks up particles easily and then dusts it everywhere.
Avoid clothes that flap in the wind as well.
