PAS' Pasir MAS MP Ahmad Fadhli Shaari has been appointed as the Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK) chairperson to replace his predecessor K Saraswathy.
"So far it is like that, but I have not received the letter yet. I only got the call through the phone," said Ahmad Fadhli when contacted by Malaysiakini today.
On its Facebook page, PTPK has congratulated Ahmad Fadhli on his new appointment effective April 8, 2020.
"Congratulations and welcome to Ahmad Fadhli on his appointment at the PTPK chairperson effective April 8, 2020," the message read.
The PTPK is a statutory body under the Human Resources Ministry where the main function is to provide skills training loans to individuals who attended the public and private training centres accredited by the Skills Development Department registered under PTPK.
The training is also open to trainers who attended the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM), Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) and the Malaysian Further Skills Diploma (DLKM). - Mkini
