KEPALA BATAS: Police have arrested 15 individuals for hanging out and having chit-chat sessions at various locations in north Seberang Perai here on Saturday (April 25).
The individuals, comprising 11 Malaysians, three Myanmar nationals and one Bangladeshi were caught around Butterworth, Tasek Gelugor, Mak Mandin, Seri Pinang and Bertam Perdana.
North Seberang Prai OCPD Asst Comm Noorzainy Mohd Noor said the individuals were caught for violating the MCO.
"The police hauled them up when our patrols caught them gathering and chatting.
"Three locals aged from 34 to 41 were caught in Mak Mandin while another six locals from ages 16 to 20 were caught around Seri Pinang.
"The Myanmar and Bangladesh nationals caught also failed to produce valid personal travel documentations.
"These individuals will be brought to court for remand on Sunday," he said. - Star
