People under enhanced MCO can make special orders via centre

Malaysiakini

CORONAVIRUS | Beyond the basic government-sponsored ration, residents living under an enhanced movement control order (MCO) are allowed to order other household items through a centre set-up within their area.
Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the centre, which will also monitor movements in the area, will be in charge of distributing their orders.
"Whatever they need, they can order through the centre. For example, to purchase baby diapers.
"We do not distribute baby diapers to all households because we do not know whether it is needed," said Ismail, who is also coordinating senior minister for the security cluster."If for example, they want to eat meat because they haven't had meat for a while, they can order it.
"We don't distribute it to all because not everyone has the same needs," he said, adding that the extra orders must be paid for by the families themselves.
He was responding to a question during the daily Covid-19 update press conference in Putrajaya.
As of today, two areas in Kluang, Johor, Sungai Lui in Hulu Langat, Selangor and Menara City One in Kuala Lumpur have been placed under an enhanced MCO after a spike of positive Covid-19 cases.
Overall, Ismail reiterated there is no shortage of food supplies, contrary to claims on social media. - Mkini
