PETALING JAYA: The finance ministry announced that petrol prices will remain unchanged next week after dropping for the past six weeks.
The price of RON95 will remain at RM1.25 per litre while the price of RON97 will stay at RM1.55 per litre.
Meanwhile, the price of diesel will drop three sen to RM1.43 per litre.
The new rates will be in effect from tomorrow till April 24
The finance ministry said the government will continue to monitor the impact of global crude oil price changes and take appropriate measures to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people.
The ministry last week said that the drop in fuel prices was due to the decline in global crude oil prices following economic uncertainty because of the Covid-19 pandemic. - FMT
