COVID-19 | Several shopping malls have exchanged words of encouragement to one another amid the Covid-19 pandemic which had affected businesses and further exacerbated by the third wave of the outbreak.
It all started with Sungei Wang Plaza Facebook page through its post several days ago telling other malls to persevere through the difficult times.
"It has been a very difficult time, for each and every one of us. Worry not, as we will rise again once all this ends. Hold tight, as we will get through this together. Don’t give up, as we will fight together as one," the post read.
It had tagged several malls in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor in its post. It didn't take long for other malls, including those outside the two states, to respond to the post as seen in the lively comment section.

The post had garnered 8,600 likes and more than 1,000 encouraging comments, as well as 3,000 shares.
Following the spike in Covid-19 cases, malls have been badly affected with certain outlets or the whole mall temporarily closed after reported Covid-19 cases.
