All you film buffs who miss watching movies on the big screen in the darkened halls of cinemas, you will soon get the chance again.
In a press release posted on its official Facebook, Finas states that filming activities as well operation of cinemas are allowed in conditional MCO and recovery MCO states with adherence to SOP compliance.
Earlier today, Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor and Penang will be switched to the conditional MCO from March 5 to 18.
The four will join Kedah, Kelantan, Negri Sembilan, Sarawak and Perak which are also under the conditional MCO.
Meanwhile, Melaka, Pahang, Terengganu, Sabah, Putrajaya, Labuan and Perlis will be under the recovery MCO, he added.
Cinemas stopped operations in Malaysia in stages since November, to reopen temporarily in December only to close again when MCO 2.0 was implemented.- Star
