First Umno Stole RM2.6 Bil, Then PAS Took RM90 Mil, And Now PPBM Received RM500 Mil

All those alleging that Bersatu received a RM500 million commission on the RM16 billion Goldman Sachs settlement claim that this is merely a rumour and that no evidence has surfaced thus far. However, they want the police to investigate this rumour to establish whether the rumour is true or false.

A police report has been lodged against Parti Pribumi Bersatu (PPBM) regarding the rumour that a RM500 million commission was paid to the party through a high-profile lawyer, Rosli Dahlan.

In his report, Pejuang assemblyman, Sallehudin Amiruddin, alleged that the money was paid as a commission from the Malaysian government’s recent out-of-court settlement with Goldman Sachs.

The Goldman Sachs settlement came to US$3.9 billion or roughly RM16 billion. And, according to the rumour, RM500 million was paid to Bersatu as commission to fund the coming general election or GE15.

The rumour was first mentioned by Najib Tun Razak activist, Lokman Noor Adam, a couple of nights ago in his daily video broadcast. Lokman cheekily said that this is only a rumour and should not be believed.

In 2018, Najib and his Umno-Barisan Nasional government was ousted because of rumours surrounding his transgressions and misdeeds, plus that of his wife, Rosmah Mansor. One of the allegations involved the RM2.6 billion that he alleged stole from 1MDB under the guise of a donation from the Saudia Arabian royal family.

Anwar Ibrahim then alleged that RM90 million of the stolen 1MDB money was given to PAS. Anwar claimed he had the evidence of a single cheque of RM90 million paid in the name of PAS and that he would be revealing the evidence very soon.

After a couple of years nothing happened, just like Anwar’s claim that he has in his possession six boxes of evidence regarding Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s crimes, which he announced 23 years ago and until today has not yet surfaced.

(The MACC investigated Anwar’s allegation against PAS and found it to be false).

Now they are alleging that a rumour has surfaced regarding a RM500 million commission paid to Bersatu from the RM16 billion Goldman Sachs settlement. The police report that was lodged basically alleges that a rumour has surfaced and Pejuang is asking the police to investigate this rumour.
