Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin had an audience with Sabah Governor Juhar Mahiruddin at the Istana Negeri in Kota Kinabalu today in conjunction with the premier's two-day visit to the state.
Muhyiddin arrived at the palace at 11.40am, accompanied by Chief Minister Hajiji Noor and Deputy Chief Ministers Jeffrey Kitingan and Joachim Gunsalam.
Muhyiddin also signed the visitor's book at the palace before being ushered to a room for the audience with Juhar (above) and his wife Norlidah RM Jasni.
This audience was the first granted to the prime minister after the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) formed the new Sabah state government in September last year.
The audience lasted for 35 minutes before they proceeded to another room for lunch.
Earlier today, Muhyiddin attended a briefing on Sabah development and the “Prosper Together With Sabah 2030” town hall session. He also visited the Covid-19 vaccination centre at the State Administrative Centre in Kota Kinabalu.
