JEDDAH: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and wife, Puan Sri Noorainee Abdul Rahman, arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah at 5.31pm (local time) for a four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.
Muhyiddin and Noorainee were greeted upon arrival by Prince Mishaal bin Majid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Jeddah, Malaysian ambassador to Saudi Arabia Datuk Abd Razak Abdul Wahab and wife, Datin Nor Asimah Petah; and Consulate General of Malaysia in Jeddah 'Alauddin Mohd Nor and wife, Najwa Hasbullah.
Muhyiddin and wife will begin their visit to Saudi Arabia by performing the umrah in Makkah and visiting Madinah, the two holy cities, before attending the official programme at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Tuesday (March 9).
From Saudi Arabia, Muhyiddin will fly to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday to meet the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed Zayed Al Nahyan and UAE Prime Minister who is also the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Al Maktoum.
