PETALING JAYA: The MCA headquarters in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, will be closed from Tuesday (May 25) to June 1, says Datuk Chong Sin Woon.
The MCA secretary-general said the party’s headquarters will shut temporarily owing to the worsening situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“To protect the health and safety of employees, MCA headquarters will shut temporarily from tomorrow (May 25) to June 1.
“The date to resume operations at MCA HQ will be determined later, pending the situation then, ” he said in a statement Monday (May 24).
During the closure period, Chong said all employees of MCA headquarters would continue to perform their tasks by working from home.
“This is to ensure that all party matters will be completed according to schedule, and that there will be no delays, ” he added. - Star
