Pakatan Harapan chairperson Anwar Ibrahim and committee member Anthony Loke have called for the coalition to focus on their duties.
This came after heated dialogue yesterday over which logo the coalition should use in the next election.
In an online speech today, Anwar said Harapan should be working together on their duties amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Don't let small matters escalate," he said, adding that Harapan will decide on which logo to use via consensus, not compulsion.
Yesterday, the PKR Youth wing mooted that Harapan uses the party's logo in the next general election - just as it did in 2018.
This triggered disagreements from DAP Youth and some in Amanah, with PKR Youth leaders retorting with sharp remarks.
In a Facebook post, Loke - who is also the incumbent DAP organising secretary - said the focus now should be on helping the people.
This includes making sure the vaccination process is improved so that all Malaysians can get inoculated against Covid-19.
He also said they should be looking after the people's welfare, while also putting an end to the state of emergency so that Parliament can reconvene.
On what logo will be used, Loke said the Harapan presidential council will decide when the time is right - and that there's already a general understanding of how each component party feels about the matter.
Harapan had used the PKR logo in the 2018 general election after failing to get registered as a coalition.
However, it was formally registered after it won the 14th general election and its logo was used in subsequent by-elections including when Anwar contested for the Port Dickson seat.
This practice continued until the Sheraton Move led to the Harapan government's collapse last year.
In the proceeding Sabah state election, DAP and Amanah contested under the Warisan logo while PKR used their own logo. - Mkini
