Pakatan Harapan Youth chief Shazni Munir Mohd Ithnin is in critical condition after testing positive for Covid-19 earlier this week.
Amanah Youth secretary Asim Abdullah Ainullotfi in a statement said Shazni (above) is currently at Stage 4 of the disease and is in a weak state due to inflammation of the lungs and requires oxygen support.
He said Shazni's wife and child, who also tested positive, is currently under home quarantine while awaiting further instructions from health authorities.
"We seek prayers and support from everyone so that his condition would soon recover.
"At the same time, to relieve burdens of his family during these challenging times, friends who wish to assist can channel it directly to Shazni's wife," Asim said on Facebook.
Shazni announced on Monday that he tested positive for Covid-19 after complaining of fever and body ache. - Mkini
