Federal Territories Minister Shahidan Kassim made a bold move today, sharing his actual phone number for Kuala Lumpur residents to alert him of potholes.
He also shared the phone numbers of his deputy Jalaluddin Alias, and Kuala Lumpur mayor Mahadi Che Ngah.
The phone numbers, which Malaysiakini has verified, are as follows:

Shahidan read out the phone numbers in the Dewan Rakyat today while wrapping up his ministry's section of the 12th Malaysia Plan debate.
He said Kuala Lumpur City Hall has agreed to act on any complaints of road damage in the capital within 24 hours.
"We are prepared. The people of Malaysia can contact us. Those who reach Kuala Lumpur and see potholes can contact us and we will take action in 24 hours," he said.
