Sea Level Dropping In Kuala Perlis, Are The Maldives Saved?

 The news about the sea having receded in Kuala Perlis is now about two weeks old. Both at high tide and low tide the sea level has fallen at Kuala Perlis to an extent that the Langkawi ferries have stopped operating from Kuala Perlis. 

So the oceans are not rising (in Kuala Perlis). Since Kuala Perlis actually opens up to the Andaman Sea / Bay of Bengal lets hope that the Maldives are also not sinking anymore.
