The Health Ministry yesterday reported 1,251 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the cumulative infections to 4,455,364.
Health authorities also recorded seven new fatalities yesterday, putting the death toll at 35,576.

Active cases stood at 26,100, a decline of 67.8 percent compared to 14 days ago.
Of the seven new fatalities, two died before they could receive treatment at a hospital.
The deaths were reported in Selangor (3), Kedah (2), Perak (1), and Penang (1).
Over the past week, an average of 4.9 people were reported to have died of Covid-19, while the average for the past 30 days was 12.8, indicating a downtrend.
There were 564 deaths last month and 2,235 deaths in March.
There are 1,026 Covid-19 patients hospitalised of which 76 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (127) followed by Johor (117) and Sabah (70). - Mkini
