KUALA LUMPUR: A wushu instructor, who was investigated by the Selangor police last week for allegedly molesting an underage student, is expected to face more charges.
Kuala Lumpur police have received two additional reports involving two other alleged victims, aged 12 and 13, who were also his students at a wushu academy in Cheras.
City criminal investigation department chief Habibi Majinji said the investigation paper have been sent to the deputy public prosecutor for further instructions.
“We have completed the investigations and hope to get the 31-year-old suspect charged as soon as possible,” he said.
Last week, Kajang police said they were investigating the suspect in a case involving a 13-year-old girl.
Today, Habibi revealed that police had investigated two cases in Selangor and two cases in Kuala Lumpur, making a total of four possible victims.
He said the suspect would persuade his students to follow him in his car after training and take advantage of them.
Investigations showed that he had committed the act against his students as early as 2020. - FMT
