COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 867 new daily Covid-19 yesterday - the lowest since May 3.
Active cases stood at 18,721, down 32.3 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Kuala Lumpur (62)
Sarawak (61)
Kedah (58)
Malacca (57)
Sabah (56)
Perak (55)
Pahang (30)
Kelantan (27)
Terengganu (27)

Another 10 deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which 2 were declared as "brought in dead".
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,763 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.
There have been 79 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 209 deaths last month and 101 deaths in October.
There are 1,235 Covid-19 patients hospitalised of which 78 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (77) followed by Sabah (65) and Kedah (28). - Mkini
