COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 480 new daily Covid-19 cases yesterday.
Active cases currently stood at 13,818, down 21.3 percent compared to 14 days ago. Active cases have not been this low since December 2020.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Kedah (26)
Perak (26)
Malacca (22)
Johor (18)
Negeri Sembilan (15)
Kelantan (12)
Sabah (11)
Putrajaya (11)

Perlis (3)
Labuan (2)
Another 4 deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday in Johor (2), Kedah (1) and Penang (1).
Over the past week, an average of 3.9 people were reported to have died of Covid-19, while the average for the past 30 days was 6.2, indicating that Covid-19 deaths are on the downtrend.
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,835 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.
There have been 151 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 209 deaths last month and 101 deaths in October.
There are 885 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 45 are in intensive care.
The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Sabah (59) followed by Selangor (44) and Johor (19). - Mkini
