Water supply to 427 affected areas in Selangor will be fully restored by 6am on Dec 27, Air Selangor said today.
Both the Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant and Bukit Tampoi Water Treatment Plant are now operational.
For areas getting their water from the Bukit Tampo plant, water will be fully restored by 2pm tomorrow (Dec 26).
Meanwhile, areas covered by the Sungai Semenyih plant will have water fully restored by 2pm on Tuesday.
The plants were shut down due to odour pollution at the Jenderam Hilir raw water pump station.
Lembaga Urus Air Selangor said the cause of the pollution was perfume oil spillage due to an accident involving a lorry near Bandar Serenia, Negeri Sembilan. - Mkini
