The songwriter and filmmaker was summoned to the MCMC headquarters in Cyberjaya, and at 4pm was yet to emerge from the building since he went in for questioning at 12.30pm.
His manager, Fred Chong, said he did not know what Wee, better known as Namewee, had been summoned for, but it is believed to be related to his recent controversial video titled "Nah!"
This is the second time this week that Wee has been questioned over the video, having spent three hours with the police on the night of Merdeka Day, giving his statement at the Taman Tun Dr Ismail police station.
The video, which has since beentaken off his blog, showcased a three-minute rap song in which Wee raged - in colourful, expletive-filled language - against incidents of racism in Malaysia.
He targeted in particular the heads of two schools in Kedah and Johor, who are alleged to have uttered racial slurs against non-Malay students.
