A group of 50 protesters from Malay rights group Perkasa gathered outside the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH) in Kuala Lumpur tonight to protest against controversial rapper Namewee as he was about to speak at a youth forum. The event started at 8.15pm with about 400 people.
It was reported that posters of Namewee were torched by a group of protestors from Perkasa.
The group further were seen and heard calling names like "Namewee babi"( Namewee pig), "Namewee penakut (Namewee coward), "Namewee tak ada telur" (Namewee has no balls) while about 30 FRU police personnel were there to control the situation while these Perkasa protestors were demanding that the event be cancelled immediately.
However, the event came to a close at 9.30pm, a bit earlier than schedule.
