GUA MUSANG, Oct 31 - It seems that the status of the Pas candidate, Dr Zulkifli Mohamed continues to be a controversy not only among the bloggers but even the local community.
Sometime last week, prior to nomination day for Galas, it was reported in a blog that Dr Zulkfli was involved in a khalwat case but it was later revealed that the person named was is mother. The blog publisher had apologised for the error and for which Dr Zulkfli had agreed not to press for charges.
The story he had been arrested for khalwat remains a mystery, what more a story about his marriage has a lot of unknown mysteries.
Indeed, his current wife is Zainab Binti Jalar.
Before marrying to Dr Zulkifli, Zainab was a single mother who had a son named Nuramni Qistina as a results of a marriage with a Muslim convert Abdul Basir Abdullah.
Dr Zulkifli marriage with Zainab took place with a small ceremony involving the immediate family. Although Dr Zulkifli is among the top leaders of Pas in Gua Musang, but Dr Zulkifli choose to hold his marriage to close relatives only.
According to several blogs today saying the marriage is held as close due to the question of whether it was a case of khalwat. Furthermore, it was alleged that Dr Zulkifli was arrested for khalwat by his close friends in Pas?. This is because at that time Dr Zulkifli was contesting for a top post in the Pas.
Over the question of whether Dr Zulkifli was arrested for khalwat by his friends in Pas remains a mystery?.
It was discovered that Dr Zulkifli took the marriage form in Mukim Sawo One but got married elsewhere.
More surprising is the blog revealing that there was a charge sheet made by the Department of Islamic Affairs Kelantan (JAHEIK) but this file has been missing since it has been removed by JAHEIK staff who had been offered RM70, 000 by a logging boss.
This is not a personal attacks on the Pas candidate for Galas, but the truth need to be exposed and found out whether the blog revelation about his alleged khalwat case is true or false.
Will the truth ever be known!!!
