Defence lawyer: US experts 99.99% sure it's Anwar

Pemerhati: Every one of the participants in yesterday's trial was taking part in a charade orchestrated by Umno to discredit Anwar Ibrahim. The small fines imposed on the 'Datuk T' trio were hardly a rap on the knuckle. The main aim was to broadcast and publicise that there is a 99.99 percent match of the video clip to a known photo of Anwar.

But this must be viewed against the fact that there is photographic evidence in the public domain which shows Anwar appearing in court the next day after the alleged incident with a beard, whereas the Anwar lookalike, who is alleged to have performed in the video the previous day, does not have a beard.

Since it is 100 percent certain that a sizeable beard cannot sprout within a day, it means that the person in the video is definitely not Anwar. If what the experts say can be independently verified by other reputable experts as being true, then it means there is a 0.01 percent chance that there is an Anwar lookalike somewhere.

Soap Opra: The Datuk T court case was about the accused screening a sex video clip in public. But instead, the court allowed them to make a statement on the alleged actor in the video.

The whole process of judiciary is being manipulated by (must be BN). Anyway, even if the person in the video is 101 percent Anwar, I will still vote for Anwar and his party.

This is because when Pakatan wins GE 13, this is the only chance that we have to eliminate corruption and cronyism, and to improve the judiciary, MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission), EC (Election Commission) and the PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police). There is too much double standards currently being exercised by these authorities.

Ttloo: It puzzles me why the police did not confirm that Anwar is in the video but through Rahim Thamby Chik's counsel Muhammad Shafee Abdullah even to the extent of quoting the June 4 report forwarded to the police by professors Hany Farid and Lorenzo Torresani from Dartmouth College in Hanover.

How did Muhammad Shafee got hold of June 4 report and the CCTV recording from the apartment when it was supposed to be under police possession?

Now, can it be 99.99% confirmed that Muhammad Shafee had collaborated with the police to nail Anwar?

Pakman: As expected, the Malaysian court has helped the Umno agenda to tarnish DSAI's (Anwar's) image. How could the court allow such deliberations by Muhammad Shafee which are not relevant to charges.
The statement of facts is purposely used to give one side of the case without the possibility of it being challenged.

Avatar1: If the expert report from Dartmouth College said it is DSAI, then the police should charge DSAI for making a false police report, but this is not done. Inversely, the report has been abused by the defence to further tarnish the name of DSAI.

So, the report belongs to whom actually - the government or the defence?

Goliath: Weird. The charge was about the Datuk T screening a pornographic video in public, and not about who the man is in the video. I have never seen a porno video vendor/seller being charged in the court while the judge also addressed the issue of who the actors/actresses are in those videos.

Now tell me how did the Thai address appeared on the video footage with an address in Bangkok appearing on the clip? Shazryl also initially said the sex act took place in a spa, now it is an apartment.

What about the story of Shazryl trying to get Anwar's Omega watch back from the woman and he 'accidentally' came across the video recording.

Fairnessforall: Firstly, who are these so-called experts whom we have never heard of and how much did Umno pay them to come up with this ridiculous claim.

Secondly, who cares how many women Anwar has sex with - that's his personal life and has nothing to do with his political career. We want a leader who can be fair to all Malaysians and run the country the way the rakyat want them to, and not some leader who steals from the rakyat and ask them to cut down on their expenses when there is nothing more to cut.

Even if it is proven that it's Anwar, I will still give my vote to Pakatan.

Try asking the American experts how Anwar's hair grew miraculously overnight as there are photographs of Anwar being taken outside the court the very next day, which is significantly different from the video.

You have been mesmerised by the 'Pied Piper of Permatang Pauh' - to use a phrase coined by the late MGG Pillai who also described Anwar as being 'as rotten as the rest of his Umno colleagues but in nicer packaging'.

Now if the French courts reveal a photograph of Najib with Altantuya with 99.99% confidence, how will you react? 'We believe the French experts 100% but not the American experts'?

Anwar has taken us for a ride for so long but such is the stupidity of so-called democrats in Malaysia that they continued to be led by the nose by Anwar with all his blatant trickery.

Anwar is my true hero for his amazing ability to multi-task. In spite of his busy schedule, he managed to shave off his facial hair, have sex with a woman while tweeting and Facebooking and grow his hair back the very next morning.

So far, the police had not revealed the identity of the man in the video. Now, how did Mohammad Shafee get this police information which was supposed to be confidential?
