With so much of controversy, it would be best that the POSTAL VOTES be abolished. Every voter should cast their votes on polling day and uniform staff should be allowed time to cast their votes at the polling centre.
Uniform staff should register their voting centre at their current residence and this will avoid much controversy and no one else will be involved in placing their own votes in the ballot box.
Malaysians overseas should place their respective votes at the Malaysian Embassies overseas on polling day which should be conducted by the Election Commission officials and witnessed by observers from the ruling and Opposition parties. (If this proposal is implemented).
Postal votes have always been a 'problem' since the ruling BN had always enjoyed these votes to win in any elections. Recently, a few ex-servicemen have complained that their superiors were the ones who had dealt with these voting.
