(The Star) - Sabah barred lawyer-activist Haris Ibrahim from the state for valid reasons, Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman said.
“The authorities have valid reasons for not allowing him to enter Sabah,” Musa told reporters yesterday after launching the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s open day for civil servants to eradicate corruption.
However, Musa did not disclose the reasons for the persona non grata order against Haris who was put on a flight back to Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday by Immigration officers.
Haris, who is Malaysian Civil Liberties Movement president, had come to Sabah to carry out the movement’s roadshow with local NGOs and political parties.
