Perkasa's 'bulldozer' blocked from entering CM's office

Perkasa members today sent a replica of a bulldozer to Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng as a symbol of the state government’s alleged act of demolishing homes and businesses of the Malay community.

The group led by Penang Perkasa Youth chief Mohd Risuan Asudin carried the replica to the state government’s offices in Komtar Level 3.

They were protesting the demolition of a motorcycle shop in Jelutong last year, whose owner happens to be a Perkasa member.

They were, however, prevented from entering Lim's office on the 28th Floor. Also, no official from Lim’s office came to accept the ‘gift’.

Disappointed, the group sat on the floor, hoping that the doors to the CM’s office would open for them, but the guard locked them up instead.

The group started criticising Lim for not wanting to see the rakyatand for being afraid to receive their present.

“It is only a replica, why is he afraid?” said Risuan, before unveiling the replica which was covered with a red cloth.
