Why is that while Malaysia has so many natural resources in comparison to HK and SG, but we still
ReplyDeleteend up in budget deficit year after year.
Look at the news below at HK boast a surplus of HK$66.7bil (RM26.68bil), against a forecast deficit for 2011/2012 of HK$8.5bil amid a year of crisis in Europe and global slowdown?

We seriously need to look into how our budget is allocated and decide if those are really needed.
And we need a major tax reform to reduce the complexity of our tax system, instead of fixing incrementally.
We should learn from our neighbouring countries which have a lower tax rate and simpler tax system but end up with better tax revenue collection.
Can Malaysia make it easier to pay taxes?

ReplyDeleteSingapore is a very small country and did not have any natural resources like Malaysia and yet it became a very rich country because of it,s constitution and good governance policy. On 04/01/2012 all the cabinet ministers in Singapore is contributing 1/3 of their salary to reduce the citizens financial burden and living standard. This shows that they really care for the citizen. Why is that so much corruption in Malaysia.? As as a loyal and concerned citizen of Malaysia to safe and to have a good governance in our motherland in the forth coming general election the Rakyat should choose PR as a ruling party before this situation could become to worse.
ReplyDeleteAll the Singapore cabinet Minister have contributed 30% of their income to reduce the financial burden of their citizens why can,t Malaysian BN cabinet Ministers do this?
