KUALA LUMPUR MASSIVE FLOOD WITH KG ATTAP HAVING MUD FLOODS (Video & pictures)

Jln Kg Attap landslide (behind Sgor Chinese Assembly Hall): families of govt quarters victims of mud flood.

MP Tian Chua at Jalan Kg Attap landslide (behind Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall): families of govt quarters victims (police personnel) of mud flood. Its reported that 13-year old boy had died in the mud/landslide; while 8 families evacuated. 





Meanwhile, MP Azmin Ali reports while visiting flood victims with motorbike that floods at Ukay Perdana and about 34 families evacuated at Kampong Melayu Ampang.


Heavy rain this morning had caused them.


MP Nurul Izzah reports that Kampong Pasir is also badly affected with many homes flooded.

Flash floods in KL after thunderstorm



KUALA LUMPUR: Flash floods hit various areas in the city after a heavy thunderstorm Thursday evening.
The affected areas included Ampang Jaya, Lebuh Ampang, Jalan Pinang, Kampung Baru, Ampang, Taman Kosas, Jalan Bangsar and Jalan Sultan Ismail.
Netizens who were caught in traffic tweeted continuously about the floods, thunderstorm and bumper-to-bumper crawl. Some even posted pictures of the flooded roads as they waded through them.
Many shared their updates and frustrations at the KL Traffic Update twitter page, including those about fallen trees and stalled cars.
@StroberiMasam warned people not to enter Kampung Baru and shared a picture of rising waters in the area.
Netizen @neeti371 tweeted about the flash floods on Jalan Sultan Ismail, and said: "Many cars have 'died'.. Be careful guys."
