When you think that your views are important

By all means disagree with my views, or the views of anyone else. If you think these views are opposite to yours then present your views. Let’s hear what you have to say. But if all you want to do is to curse the writer because you do not agree with that person’s view then we do not need to read what you have to say. Your ‘views’ are not important and we do not need to waste our time reading what you have to say.

There are some very angry readers out there. And do you know what they angry about? They are angry because I refuse to publish their comments. Sometimes they are angry because their comments get published late.

Actually, those readers who register to comment do not suffer from this irritation. Since they are registered, their comments are automatically published. Only those who are not registered face this irritation. And it is an irritation they must be subjected to because they do not have the guts to register. In fact, they do not even have to pay. All they need to do is to send me an e-mail and they can get free registration.

I know many of you think I do not need to sleep. Everyone needs a few hours of sleep each day. Then I have to take a bit of time off to read my books. And how do I get to read two books a week unless I take some time off to read them? Hence I can only spend about 12-15 hours a day working on Malaysia Today. And if you happen to post a comment during those times I am offline, then your comments would get published late, that is if they are published in the first place.

Regarding those whose comments do not get published, I know you whack me and accuse me of not practicing what I preach. You mean, of course, not practicing freedom of speech, something that I have been propagating. You accuse me of being a hypocrite and of not respecting your freedom of expression.

To be honest, if you do not know the meaning of freedom of speech, then you do not deserve freedom of speech. I mean, how can you be given something you know nothing about? Freedom of speech comes in a very specific form. But you consider cursing and mocking as freedom of speech. This demonstrates your lack of understanding about what freedom of speech is. So that means you do not deserve freedom of speech.

I have my views and opinions. So do you. Everyone does. Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone has one. So, you have yours and I have mine. And just like your arsehole is different from mine, so is your opinion different from mine.

Thus, I can accept that you may never share my views and opinions. That is natural. And I can accept that you would like to express your opposite view to mine. That is also natural. So feel free to express this opposite view.

The problem is, though, you do not have the ability to express your views and opinions, whether opposite or otherwise. What you do instead is you curse me and mock me. And you thought that this is expressing your view or opinion. And this demonstrates not only your poor articulation skills but also the inferior mentality that you have. Hence I do not need to demonstrate my superiority when you demonstrate your inferiority. It really sort of makes me feel good.

Still do not get what I mean? Well, then let me give you an example. Say you give me your opinion about your religion, whatever that religion may be. You are, of course, expecting me to debate the issue. I then respond and say that you must be very stupid for praying to a man-made statue and expect this false God of yours to hear your prayers. To you, this is debating an opinion. To me, that is not debating. In my books, that would be mocking you. I am making fun of your belief.

You also have a very low tolerance if I post something by people whom you disagree with. If I were to post articles written by people like Marina Mahathir, Joceline Tan, Matthias Chang, etc., you post very insulting remarks. In fact, you don’t care what they have to say. Most times you don’t even bother to read what they say. You will just curse them because they happen to be Marina Mahathir, Joceline Tan, Matthias Chang, etc. And you expect your ‘views’ to get posted. And you get angry when they are not.

By all means disagree with my views, or the views of anyone else. If you think these views are opposite to yours then present your views. Let’s hear what you have to say. But if all you want to do is to curse the writer because you do not agree with that person’s view then we do not need to read what you have to say. If you want to debate with me, fine. Let’s debate. I can even debate religion if you want to. But are you able to do the same? I can tear every argument you present to pieces. I can rip your arguments to shreds. But I will use reasoning to debate you. I will not curse you or mock you or make fun of your beliefs. I will use logical reasoning. And I assure you that any and every argument you put forward will not pass the test of reasoning.

However, judging by the quality of the comments posted in Malaysia Today thus far, you will lose. You will lose if you are not able to curse and mock. You need to curse and mock to win your argument. You can never win if you need to use logical reasoning to present your views and to counter my arguments. That is judging by the quality of the comments thus far in Malaysia Today.
