KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 9 — PKR state chief, Azmin Ali, will leave any action to be taken against Faekah Husin for publicly criticising him in the hands of the party's higher leadership, The Star Online reported today.
The news portal quoted Azmin (picture) as saying the matter had yet to be discussed by the party leadership, but added he would not be involved in any decision-making related to the matter.
He also told The Star that he respected Borhan Aman Shah’s position on the matter, which was made known in the form of a statement yesterday.
The PKR state election director had said that Faekah should be sacked immediately for breaking party ranks.
Faekah, who is Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim's political secretary, had criticised Azmin for saying that Khalid's services would be sought at the federal level should Pakatan Rakyat succeed in capturing Putrajaya. The implication was that Khalid would not be re-appointed as mentri besar should Pakatan retained power in Selangor in the next general election.
