Zuraida slams Faekah over Azmin-Khalid 'spat'

PKR Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin today censured Selangor menteri besar's political secretary Faekah Husin, for allegedly putting down PKR deputy president Azmin Ali.

Responding to the "spat" involving Azmin and MB Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, Zuraida, who is also Selangor PKR deputy chief said that the state leadership council is "very disappointed" over Faekah's "unneccesary comments".

NONEIn a "gentle reminder" to Faekah (right), Zuraida said the former, in a statement to news portalMalaysian Digest, had "misintrepreted" Azmin's words.

"If only Faekah held her breath for a second and finished reading the (Sinar Harian) article in good faith," she said in a statement.

She added Azmin had actually meant that the MB is a valuable asset to the Pakatan Rakyat government and that Azmin's support for Abdul Khalid has been proven "time and again".

She said Faekah should have clarified with the deputy president before making such statements.

"Our advice to Faekah is to break her wall of communications with the party leaders because until today, she has yet to communicate with most state and party national leaders on party and state matters," Zuraida said.

"With this explanation, we hope the matter can be put to rest and let us all close ranks to win the 13th general election."

'Who is Azmin to make such a deduction?'

Sinar Harian
had reported that according to Azmin, Abdul Khalid would be appointed as a federal minister if Pakatan wins the next elections.

NONEIn response, Malaysian Digestreported that Faekah said that Azmin (left) does not have the authority to decide Abdul Khalid's post.

"Who is Azmin to make such a deduction? I don't know what drove him to come up with that statement," she was reported as saying.

Azmin, who is said to harbour the ambition of becoming Selangor MB, has since claimed that Sinar Harian had"misreported" his statement - a charged refuted by the daily.

Unperturbed, the MB took the daily's report in his stride, by saying that the deputy president was merely showing that there are people capable of helming federal ministerial posts in Pakatan.

Faekah had recently been attacked in an anonymous onlinecampaign to oust her by those claiming to be PKR insiders aligned to Azmin and Zuraida.
