HAND PHONE DANGEROUS TOYS FOR KIDS

HAND or cell phone is becoming like toys among school children. From the tender age of 5 years, children already owns a mobile phone of their own that was given to them by their parents. Not to mention also students at the secondary school level.

We can imagine a high school student having a cell phone worth thousands of ringgits, but the question being asked nowadays is that do parents monitor the use of the cell phone among their children or do they even think about what is really happening to their children who have this sophisticated cell phones.

Sabah DAP Wanita Chief, Noriah Onong said, the hand-phone not only can gain access to the Facebook, but they can also access the internet with addition to capture video scene of almost anything and everything.

The most shocking is that primary school children are daring enough to download sex scenes and Porno movies from the internet and upload it to the handphones of their fellow students. There are high school students even bold enough to shoot their own intimate sex scenes and forwarding it to their friends and other students.

Why are these students so daring to do so without feeling embarrassed or thinking about their future as well as not to safe guard the reputation of their parents and schools. What is the problem here and who is to blame, why parents give in to their children’s request without even monitoring their children’s activities in using the cell phones.

Do teachers conduct regular check up in school and give talks on the proper usage of cell phones as well as the internet? Of course, cell phone is very important to everyone but many also have abused the usage of cell phones.(DAP Media)
