BAD POLICE STATION IN THE TIP OF BORNEO?

COLLAPSED..... the shattered Police station in the Tip of Borneo.

THE POLICE station in the Tip of Borneo has collapsed and deserted for quite some time, and the building is empty and the few police personal who used to station here could not be found anymore.

This police station is specially set up here to watch over the many villages area and especially the famous tourism landmark 'Tip of Borneo'. The other purpose of the police here is to provide the security and protection to the many people who are frequently here. The other duties also cover the safety of the many fishermen who work here in the sea day and night.

The Kota Kinabalu Member of Parliament Hiew King Cheu had visited the police station a few years ago and was told that a new station will be built.

The Sabah DAP Kudat Chief Alex Wong said he was surprised that nothing has been done until today, and we can only see an abandoned and shattered empty station. Alex wants the government to explain why there is no new police station being built and where are the police personals?

He continues to say that there are already a few holiday resorts being put up here and in operation, therefore the safety and security of the area is very important. In the case of emergencies, it is very difficult to get the police to come here quickly and in time, especially there is a lack of police vehicles.

The Police Head quarter in Sabah must be aware of this and what is the plan to provide here with a proper police station/out-post to serve the people here. Their safety is of upmost important. The BN government seems not interested to protect the people and the tourists who are visiting here. We want to promote the tourism business here and it is getting more popular nowadays.
