It looks like the Middle East is latest region to catch on to Anwar Ibrahim's growing clout in Malaysia's political and economic future, not to mention the strong possibility that he could replace Najib Razak as the next Prime Minister.
Al Mayadeen TV, one of the Arab world's new but influential cable news providers, has picked an-hour-long interview it conducted with Anwar on November 20, for release on 12.12.12 - marked as a special date by many the world over.
The Beirut-based station has been actively promoting the show on its news channel and social media networks, including its much-followed Arabic-language Facebook pagehttps://www.facebook.com/almayadien.tv?ref=ts&fref=ts.
A Special Interview with Anwar Ibrahim will be aired in English and shown at 21.00GMT on Wednesday (Malaysian Time 5.00am Thursday).

The interview is expected to center on Malaysia-Mid East ties, Israeli incursions and US policy in the region. Closer to home, Anwar is expected to touch on the prospects for the Malaysian Opposition at the coming general election as well as share some rare insights on his prickly relationship with former leader Mahathir Mohamad.
