SAPP EVICTED BY THE PROPERTY OWNER

TWO YEARS ago we rented a premises for our office (SAPP) from a friend in Sipitang, she who rented it from the owner of the property. We occupied about a month or so when the owner of the property discovered that we are opposition political party members.

One morning our lady tenant cried telling me that she and group were to be evicted by the property owner because they were sub letting part of the premises to us.

My only comfort words to them were… "no lady don’t worry we’d moved out, even though we already spent some money to tidy the place, putting up the grills and the like and we did get out."

"I can only say this, the moral of the story is, that opposition members’ money like us is of not the same worth as theirs… I supposed (apparently the owner of the property is one of umno leaders in Sipitang)."
